I’m a creative director and creative technologist focused on designing and developing interactive and immersive art and experiences. I’m currently an Associate Creative Director at Deeplocal, Inc in Pittsburgh, PA. My interests lie in projects that embrace "calm technology", in which people are less occupied by their personal devices and more mindful of their surroundings. In this future, architects and designers have a new opportunity to engage their audience with seamlessly integrated, interactive and insightful elements.
Before joining Deeplocal, I ran Ultra Low Res Studio; a boutique design/build firm that designed interactive and data-enabled experiences for the built environment. I also developed and taught “Reactive Spaces and Media Architecture” at Carnegie Mellon University for several years.
I received a Masters of Tangible Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University and held an adjunct instructor position there for several years while teaching my “Reactive Spaces and Media Architecture course.”
