computer vision, LEDs
As part of the Georgetown Business Improvement District's annual GLOW festival, Ultra Low Res collaborated with SHO Architects to develop a smaller, mobile version of the Latent (e)Scapes installation. Consisting of three distinct islands and 240 individually-controllable LED 'scapes', this version of the installation relied on a computer vision system to continuously track visitors as they explored the surreal setting.
